The Anahuacalli Museum holds a prehispanic art collection. That collection belonged to Diego Rivera. He erected this building to hold the collection and to be his studio as well. The museum was designed using volcanic stone and some Aztec motives around. Usually the rooms of the museum are dark. For this piece I worked in a room dedicated to the element of The fire. At the top of this room was the Aztec representation of the 5th Sun (Tonatiuh). The Sun was the main God for the Aztec culture and they calculated all their life according to its cicles.
For the piece I place on that room a lamp enlighting the Sun representation at the ceiling of the room.
